Global practice sharing and learning are cornerstones of the support that Advance HE provides for its member institutions. Through funding small case studies, our Global Impact Grants are an opportunity for Advance HE members to share success stories about higher education projects that have had a demonstrable impact on their staff and/or students.
Grants of up to £1,000 have been awarded to 15 successful applicants from Advance HE international member institutions and international membership beneficiaries to provide short case studies of recent practice (750-1000 words) that align with our overarching Grant themes.
The case studies will be published and shared on the Advance HE website, and available to members as examples of international best practice.

The 2025-26 case studies
This year we have awarded 13 Grants to institutions from countries as varied as Australia, Vietnam, the Republic of Ireland, the Netherlands, Malaysia, China and Mauritius, showing the breadth and depth of good practice taking place across the world.
Throughout the collection, there is an undercurrent of institutions trying to harness the power of artificial intelligence sustainably and ethically, a key challenge for the sector in the coming years. There are also case studies looking at access and participation, sustainability and improving student outcomes among the collection.
