Emeritus Professor Peter Eddey

Over more than fifty years in an academic career at Australian and international universities, I have endeavoured to make a meaningful and enduring contribution to higher education. I spent over three decades at Macquarie University, with shorter periods in academic roles at UNSW, Charles Sturt University, and visiting positions at the University of Washington and the University of Kent. Starting as an accounting lecturer in 1974, I progressed through senior academic and leadership roles in teaching, research, and management. While serving as Director of Postgraduate Studies in Macquarie’s Faculty of Business and Economics, I led the expansion of international postgraduate enrolments and improved the faculty’s global profile.

An accomplished academic and educational leader, Associate Professor Ian Davis serves as Dean across both the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC) and Photography Studies College (PSC). He drives strategic institutional quality, curriculum innovation, and academic governance. With extensive expertise in tertiary pedagogy, Ian is dedicated to fostering transformative learning environments and mentoring the next generation of practitioners.
Fiona Whittenbury
Head of Partnerships (Australasia), Advance HE
Fiona has over twenty-five years of global experience in cross-sector partnerships. Most recently Fiona held a management role at James Cook University, where she led a diverse portfolio of partnership programs in the Graduate Research School. Prior to this, she spent 10 years in the United Kingdom, notably 5 years in the International Division at The Law Society of England and Wales, where she engaged in trade negotiations and spearheaded successful initiatives that fostered legal understanding and collaboration for the UK legal profession in Asia-Pacific markets.
