Balancing students’ identities as learners and consumers

The workshop described in this toolkit enables students to assess the extent to which they identify as learners and consumers of their education. It then allows them to understand and reflect critically on the implications of those identities for their learning and academic achievement. Finally, students and educators can collaborate to develop a shared social identity as members of their discipline to support learning and teaching.
