The integration of GenAI in HE is a rapidly evolving topic, yet there remains limited data on the attitudes and perceptions of diverse stakeholders within the sector. This research project aims to fill this gap by conducting research across a range of HE institutions to gather data on the attitudes and perceptions of students, academic staff, and professional services staff towards the use of GenAI.
This project was led by the University of Aberdeen, alongside the University of Dundee, Edinburgh Napier University and Heriot Watt University and is one of nine projects awarded Collaborative Development Fund grants by Advance HE in 2023-24.

These can then be used to reflect upon your own teaching and learning practices, taking into account the ideas that stakeholders may have about the introduction of GenAI tools in teaching, learning, assessment or any other use you may have for GenAI in HE.
