She has over 20 years of experience working in a variety of education, outdoor and community settings with marginalised groups as an educator, facilitator and therapist.

Avril Leonard is an Outdoor Therapist, Supervisor and Facilitator working in private practice. Avril is deeply passionate about supporting people to connect with themselves, nature and their wider community, to scaffold whole body/mind health. She has 20 years of experience working in a variety of education, outdoor and community settings with marginalised groups as an educator, facilitator, and therapist. Avril holds a BA (hons) in Outdoor Education, MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is also a qualified yoga teacher, MTA Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor and Level 2 Mountain Bike leader. In all her work she combines her knowledge and experience to engage people with experiential approaches.
