David is a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science at Birmingham City University. He is an experienced academic and educator, with a background in Transnational Education (TNE) and Post-Graduate healthcare education.
He has a track record facilitating impactful and sustainable TNE partnerships. David is an Critical Care Nurse and continues to engage with his subject discipline through clinical work and scholarly activity. He is undertaking a PhD exploring the impact of error events within the ICU, and has research interests aligned to patient safety. David has extensive experience of national and international conference presenting and is active within UK and European professional Critical Care Nursing networks.
