Dorcas Lam joined the Centre for English Language and Foundation Education (CELFE) at University of Nottingham Malaysia as an Assistant Professor in 2018. She currently teaches social science and literature in the foundation programmes under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences while also serving as coordinator of the university’s in-sessional English language support. Her areas of academic and research interests include religiosity in Malaysia and the implementation of the writing centre in a Malaysian context. Dorcas obtained Associate Fellowship recognition from Advanced HE in 2020 through partial completion of the Postgraduate Certificate of Higher Education (PGCHE). She then obtained Fellowship in 2022 through the self-directed Nottingham Recognition Scheme (NRS).
