Ronan is the postgraduate study area coordinator for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). His research focuses on the intersection of multilingualism, assessment and technology in education. Ronan is a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and has led the design and delivery of professional development modules and international short courses in learning and teaching.

Title: Effective and equitable assessment preparation across diverse study modes

Publication: My presentation focuses on assessment preparation for f2f, online synchronous and online asynchronous students within the same cohort. In addition, I will share my recent article with colleagues on how group work in assessment is essential for supporting peer interaction and belonging for first year students from culturally and linguistically diverse migrant/refugee backgrounds.
