Dr Samuel Saunders SFHEA

Dr Sam Saunders is an Educational Developer in the Centre for Innovation in Education at the University of Liverpool. His research interests are in assessment and feedback practices; decolonisation of authentic pedagogy; perceptions and incorporation of Generative AI into the curriculum; and curriculum design, and he has recently presented research on decolonisation of authenticity at the 2024 Assessment in Higher Education conference in Manchester. Sam also has a background in nineteenth-century literature and culture and writes on Victorian print culture and crime fiction, and is a Senior AdvanceHE Fellow (SFHEA).
