Prior to joining Peridot, Sophie worked in further and higher education, and students’ unions, as an academic and in professional services roles. An AHRC Scholar, Sophie gained her PhD in the study of early modern royal cultures and was the Senior Caird Fellow at Royal Museums Greenwich.
Sophie has led the appointment of executive, academic and professional services leadership roles, as well as board appointments, across the higher education sector and its partners, supporting a range of HEIs to diversify and strengthen governing bodies through the successful appointment of chairs, deputy chairs, committee chairs, as well as board and committee members.
