Steven researches and teaches about the role of civil society in flood resilience, sustainable transformations post-disaster, creative engagement tools (including serious board games), and the role of digital technologies in addressing sustainability challenges. He leads the MSc in Flood Risk Management programme at the Energy and Environment Institute.
