Dr Vikki Park, NCG Higher Education Teaching & Excellence Lead, is dedicated to strategic leadership, driving innovation, and teaching and learning excellence. She has a 26-year career as an experienced academic, manager and nurse registrant with expertise in interprofessional education & collaborative practice (IPECP), adult critical care, Further Education (FE), Higher Education (HE), College Based HE (CBHE), consultancy and the charitable sector. 

Driven by the pursuit of high-quality education for outstanding student learning experiences, Vikki is passionate about HE education, workplace development and interprofessional competence. Her scholarly work and research focus on interprofessional learning, education, collaborative practice, and experiential learning. 

Vikki has an international reputation in the field and holds national leadership appointments at the Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education (CAIPE), and international roles at the InterprofessionalResearch.Global Network and the Global Confederation for IPECP, Interprofessional.Global. Within her roles she has informed, implemented, and launched policy, strategy, and pedagogical initiatives at local, regional, national, and international levels. International collaborative impact is recognised with two Interprofessional.Global Awards and a National Academies of Practice Award. Vikki’s philosophy is that research is integral to the scholarship of teaching and learning and should be viewed holistically to inform and enhance excellence in education.
