Vivian Andaya Verbo is a dedicated medical educator with extensive academic and clinical expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Pharmacy from the University of the Philippines and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Luke’s College of Medicine–William H. Quasha Memorial. She further specialized in Geriatric Medicine at the Philippine College of Gerontology and Geriatrics.
She has also pursued advanced training in medical education, completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education and the Advanced Higher Education External Examiner Course at Newcastle University, UK.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Dr Vivian has contributed to the education of Pharmacy and Nursing in various institutions in the Philippines and Malaysia. In recognition of her contributions to academia, she was awarded the prestigious Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) UK. She is a member of the UKPSF Mentors and Markers for Newcastle University and currently an active member of the Senior Fellow Network in Malaysia.
