About
Prior to joining Advance HE, Emma worked at the education access charity The Brilliant Club, where she led research and evaluation projects focused on young people’s access to higher education. She has also worked at the University of Sheffield in student support services, evaluating a range of initiatives and services, including dyslexia, disability, mental health and wellbeing support, with a particular focus on widening participation. Emma holds an MSc in International Social Change and Policy from the University of Sheffield.
For the Student Support Services Benchmarking Project, Emma leads the survey and benchmarking elements, drawing on her research and evaluation experience to support the development of robust and useful benchmarking measures.
