Joanna Stroud is Director of Digital Education at University College London (UCL), where she leads the university’s digital education strategy and associated service provision.
The Digital Education team is responsible for UCL’s learning and assessment platforms and support services, learning experience and content development, digital accessibility, and digital skills provision. Their work targets improvements to learning, teaching and assessment practices, enhancements to the student experience, and the effective adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, across education. Joanna currently leads a strand of a transformation programme intended to improve assessment and feedback at UCL, bringing together technology, policy, governance, and educational practice.
