Khadir came to SOAS from the London Ambulance Service where, as Chief Operating Officer, he delivered significant workforce culture, estate and infrastructure improvements and transformation, alongside leading the Service in meeting the huge challenges it experienced during the pandemic.
Prior to this Khadir worked as Chief Operating Officer for London within NHS England from 2016-2019, and before that he held a series of senior leadership and delivery roles in NHS England and London. and a number of London local authorities.
Khadir is an alumnus of Goldsmiths College where he studied Sociology as an undergraduate.
Khadir has a strong commitment to the SOAS values of social justice and tackling systemic barriers to participation and achievement in Higher Education, and he has an impressive track record of delivery in complex public services.
