Laura Beard is the Higher Education Academic Standards Lead at Chichester College Group (CCG), working across the Group’s higher education provision to promote and maintain academic standards. In collaboration with academic teams, senior leadership and multiple awarding bodies, she contributes to effective academic governance, regulatory assurance and the continued development of higher education provision.
With 13 years’ experience in Higher Education, including eight years in College-Based HE, Laura’s areas of expertise include academic standards, assessment, regulatory requirements, academic governance and working across diverse awarding body frameworks. She is passionate about collaboration, sharing good practice and championing the distinctive role of College-Based HE within the wider higher education sector.
