Lisa has over 25 years of experience spanning clinical practice, teaching, academic leadership and educational innovation, Lisa has held a range of senior leadership roles, including Associate Dean (Teaching, Education and Student Experience), Associate Head of School of Nursing and Midwifery and Head of Nursing.
Lisa is passionate about enhancing student success through inclusive education, curriculum innovation, digital learning and student partnership. Throughout her career, she has led strategic initiatives that have improved student outcomes, reduced awarding gaps, strengthened quality assurance processes and advanced teaching excellence across large multidisciplinary faculties.
A Principal Fellow of Advance HE, Lisa has particular expertise in educational leadership, student experience, equality, diversity and inclusion, and the development of academic staff. Her scholarly interests include transition into practice and innovative approaches to learning in healthcare education.
