Nick Skeet is Director of Membership and Global Development at Advance HE and a member of the Executive Team. He leads the organisation’s global membership, strategic engagement, and international development activities, helping shape services, partnerships and regional strategies that strengthen Advance HE’s impact across the UK and internationally.
Nick is responsible for developing Advance HE’s international strategy and priority country plans, working with partners around the world to build stronger global collaboration and support institutional excellence. A key focus of his work is increasing the value and impact of membership by strengthening Advance HE’s flagship Fellowship and Accreditation offers, ensuring they continue to provide meaningful professional recognition, organisational development, and opportunities for institutions to learn from one another across an international community.
With more than 25 years’ experience across higher education, the civil service and the not-for-profit sector, Nick has led organisational transformation, business development, and strategic partnerships. He is passionate about helping higher education institutions build leadership capability, organisational resilience, and sustainable improvement in an increasingly global sector.
