Professor Elseragy holds a PhD degree in the Built Environment (University of Nottingham – UK) and is an active member of several international professional bodies. Ahmed is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Professor Elseragy held various senior management roles including Dean of International Affairs and Networks and Head of School both in the UK and Egypt. Ahmed is also an Internationalisation consultant for AdvanceHE (previously the Higher Education Academy in the UK).
Ahmed was the Head of School of Engineering at the University of Lincoln in the UK between 2021-2022. As Director of Enterprise at the University of Lincoln, Ahmed has led industry outreach and engagement activities within the School of Engineering and College of Science to develop a sustainable relationship with Enterprise and industry. Ahmed’s role included developing strategic industry links, income diversification and Internationalisation in the school.
Ahmed has led and engaged with a very large external network of industry and manufacturing partners in both Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire to support the manufacturing and engineering sector in Greater Lincolnshire.
