Professor Ursula Kilkelly is University College Cork’s first Vice President for Global Engagement. Prior to her appointment in 2023, Ursula has had long and distinguished service, including multiple senior leadership roles, at UCC where she is a professor of law, with an international reputation and profile in international children’s rights. As Vice President, Ursula has responsibility for the development of the university’s first Global Engagement Plan, under the University strategy, and is currently leading implementation of that plan – based on the four pillars of global excellence, impact, partnership and citizenship – in the current challenging geo-political context.
