Prior to joining Advance HE, Sally worked at the University of Oxford, leading on institutional gender equality plans and initiatives, including the celebration of the centenary of women’s formal admission in 2020.
Over more than 20 years, Sally has been a policy adviser, programme manager, researcher and consultant to a range of UN and government agencies, private sector and non-governmental organisations, internationally, specialising in women’s economic empowerment and gender equality. Earlier in her career, Sally was a Researcher at the Universities of Oxford and Sussex, where she also co-convened a Master’s programme in Gender and Development.
