She then moved into policy and public affairs within the Welsh third sector, before joining Universities Wales in 2020. As a policy adviser, Sophie provides Universities Wales’ members with guidance on policy issues affecting higher education, and oversees a team covering research and innovation, civic mission, skills, student experience and quality.
