Taryn Bell

Taryn Bell (she/her) works in researcher development at the University of Leeds, UK. Her work focuses on supporting researchers with their career development, whether considering a career in academia or outside of it. She is the Programme Lead for Leeds' Fellowship Accelerator Programme and previously worked as Fellowship Coordinator at the University of York. Before becoming a researcher developer, Taryn was a researcher in archaeology, focusing on emotional security and anxiety in the past. Combining her academic work with researcher development, she has an ongoing interest in how we create research environments which give researchers the confidence to both thrive and take risks.
