This guide has been developed following the Advance HE event âConnecting Research Culture and Impactâ, which brought together sector leaders, researchers and practitioners to explore how research culture underpins the creation of meaningful research impact. It is a guided created by and for the sector, building on insights from the event, questions raised by Advance HE members, and our collective expertise. We hope this guide will help you support your research culture in your institution and across the sector, break knowledge silos and think about impact beyond the Research Excellence Framework.
This publication aims to translate the speakersâ collective expertise into a practical, sector-facing resource, provide evidence-informed approaches for designing innovative and sustainable research culture, support institutions in moving from culture activity to culture impact and enable leadership teams to build a sustainable, inclusive, impact-driven research ecosystem.
