認證的益處
Accreditation accredits higher education institutions initial and continuing professional development (CPD) programmes against the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) 2023. Accreditation brings benefits to both academic staff and to higher education institutions by:

It is widely recognised that the PSF is a useful tool in understanding and developing teaching practices. A variety of UK and international higher education providers are represented in this collection. The eight case studies are written by those with responsibility for AHE-accredited programmes, and senior leaders with ultimate responsibility for teaching and learning at their institution.

Advance HE
認證範圍不涵蓋會員機構為商業銷售目的所開發的課程或資源。Advance HE 針對此類課程Advance HE 獨立的「核准」服務。核准與認證的區別在於，獲得核准並不自動意味著參與者將獲頒「院士」的專業認可。核准是外部機構對某項產品／資源符合《專業標準框架》（PSF）的確認，因此可作為申請院士資格的佐證。
